Exhibition in Athens

The final event-exhibition of the digital tactile stories created during the Stories4ALL project took place at Azima Cultural Art Space on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in N. Smyrni. The event-exhibition was organized by e-Nable Greece and AMYMONI. Trainers and family members of individuals with visual impairments actively participated in training sessions focused on creating stories using digital tools and converting illustrations into tactile images with the aid of 3D printing.

The exhibition showcased the stories and tactile images that participants themselves had designed following the training sessions. It featured a diverse range of 3D-printed tactile fairy tales, orientation maps, everyday aids, and object representations.

Open to the public, the exhibition attracted significant interest, particularly regarding the methodology employed to design the tactile objects. Attendees were curious to learn about the innovative approaches and techniques used throughout the creative process.

Appreciation is extended to all the individuals who took part in the training sessions and the exhibition, with special acknowledgment given to the trainers and the family members of individuals with visual impairments. Their exceptional dedication and commitment allowed them to devote valuable time to the creation of these exhibits. The resulting artworks will be accessible to a wider audience through the program’s website, ensuring their continued accessibility and impact.
